Show Jumping Rally Hazeley House 18th April

Well there was good and there was bad

Charlie was in a very stupid mood he was bombing off and making very sharp refusals as a consequence i fell off.

The main problem is though however much i would love to learn how to ride him properly and get the best out of him when hes like this he isnt like this at home.

So i am going to try getting lessons at my instructors yard so that he acts more like he does when hes out and i can learn to get the best out of him

The best part of today was my pony club instructor Shelly (shes fab) said that he definately has a jump on him which i was so happy about because for so longer ive been wondering if he would ever jump.

We did a little course but i had to focus more on taking the speed element out than getting a good rhythm at this stage and he did give me some lovely jumps and such a feeling of scope so from that point of view i couldn't be happier.

And on the way back he loaded second time tryin which is really good considering he normally takes half an hour so yeah.

Some of you may know from youtube as onegirlandherhorse and those of you who don't will know me as becky if you don't know me at all thats my name.
This blog is dedicated primarily to my wonderful horse charlie but some other horses may make a sneaky appearance occasionally
i am now a member of the pony club- Garth South woop woop
so hopefully there will be posts from rallies, shows and i am hoping to go to camp this year so yes, lots to look forward to
